M.I.S.S VAN Transportation was established in 1984 and incorporated in 1989.

 

We are very proud to say we are Michigan's oldest transportation service (of its kind) and we service most of our Michigan's penal institutions.

 

The owners of M.I.S.S Van wondered why many individuals who were incarcerated had very few visitors if any.

 

They set out to do research to identify  barriers and solutions to this problem.It was soon discovered that the problem was not shame or embaressment of their family members,it was lack of transportation.

 

M.I.S.S. VAN was born out of the desire of the owners to support the mission and vision of keeping incarcerated individuals and their family members united during their time of separation.

 

We started M.I.S.S Van with 1 van and driver and operated on weekends only.

 

Although we were a small operation we worked around the clock to make sure that M.I.S.S. Van would become a success story.

 

Since that time we have acquired several vans,a full staff,a new office,and we operate 7 days a week.

 

Although transporting family members of incarcerated individuals to various penal institutions will always be the heart of our company,we have extended of transportation services to include more services.

 

M.I.S.S VAN Transportation now provides the following transportation services:
